Hi Everyone! My name is Allyson and I am a Psychology/Gender Studies student who is also completing the certificate in Employment Relations. My first job was a part-time position in a retirement home when I was in high school. I helped with food preparation after school and in the housekeeping department on week-ends. It was a wonderful, rewarding experience. When I was in this position, there was a strong focus on health and safety so the module that I am most excited about in this course is the one that covers workplace health, safety and injury.

My name is Allyson and I am a Psychology/Gender Studies major here in Kingston. I am completing the Employment Relations certificate because I am hoping to pursue a career in human resources. The topic in this course that I am most excited for is the impact that society has on social relations.
